I pass this place on my way to work when I take “the long way” and there’s quite a collection of cars here . At least two B5 Audis in various states of repair. I’ve seen old 5-series BMWs up on stands in their tiny driveway lots of times. And now there’s an old Jag, and that Harlequin Golf. I don’t know how many people live there, but based on the average reliability of this collection, I’m guessing it’s quite a bit less than the number of cars .
The black A4 above is parked in the spot where they work on these cars. Really ambitious, especially in the winter when that’s a snowbank, basically.
Here’s the Golf:
While they don’t have a garage or driveway, they do seem to have about 12 spaces that are un-metered, unlimited, public access. So much room for hoopties!

The Harlequin Golf the car made for blind people.

Until some NIMBY starts complaining to the local government and they start requiring parking passes and only issue 2 per household.

True, but these guys should be pretty safe where they are - no other houses between them and a major intersection, and not a lot of walk-in businesses nearby to utilize those spaces.

Hopefully, but all it takes is one NIMBY who just doesn’t like driving past a bunch of “junk” cars everyday.

Is this NH or Vermont?
My guess is that every single car is covered in PB Blaster waiting for that one rusty nut to free up. I grew up in MA and fully admit that I don’t have the patience (which I do have a lot of) to deal with salt rust.

hahaha, it’s NH. Upon closer inspection, it turns out the “black” A4 is actually blue, but covered in rattle-can black over most of the body panels below the pillars.
And yes, PB Blaster is a best-seller at the local NAPA for sure. I broke a sway bar link bolt on my 5 YEAR OLD Volvo, because rust. Ugh.

I gotta give them credit. Has anyone else ever tried anything that offbeat or unique since? World would be a bit nicer if they did

True. Actually, the winter will be a test because the town has to plow those spaces, I’m sure. They will not appreciate cars that don’t leave during the work day. I don’t remember what that situation was like last winter.

Prowler maybe. Cruiser, hhr, ssr were nostalgia based cash grabs. Aztec was a serious attempt at something different, which is good too. But these golfs were just whimsical. You don't get whimsical these days
